The main moisturising function of oil is to create a barrier that prevents the moisture in the deep layers of your skin from evaporating. The oil can only lock in the water that’s already absorbed by your skin. So, if you’ve just saturated your skin by taking a shower then you’ll lock in quite a bit of moisture with oil. So the best way to apply body oil is straight after a shower or bath when your skin is still damp. It makes application faster, easier and allows all the vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids to be absorbed faster.

Spray with the nozzle close to your skin when you are fresh out of the shower or bath and your skin is damp. You really only need to use a little over your body and legs then massage in. You'll use less product applying this way and lock in all the moisture and goodness of the oils. Let it soak for just a minute before putting clothes on.

TIP: When spraying your legs use your hand as a guard so that you don't spray your floor or other surfaces.
